Question regarding if "s" rims will fit a "sf"
Looking at buying a set of dirt rims for my sf. The dirt rims are off an 07 will they fit my 09 sf? Ive searched and have come up empty. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wheels or rims? Rims have be laced onto hubs using spokes to create a wheel. Try a search with "wheels" in the query. There have been some threads on the "fit" of '07 wheels to '09 bikes.

The speedo mechanism is different between pre 2008 and post 2009 models - pre 2008 used a mechanical mechanism where 2009 onwards use a magnetic mechanism. This doesn't rule out using a pre 2008 front wheel altogether though as long as you get the speedo mechanism and spacers with the front wheel. That way you just tilt your 2009 speedo out the way and use the 2008 speedo mechanism as a spacer to make sure the wheel is centered properly. Of course, you lose your speedo though - so you would need a Vapor speedo if you need the speedo.
The rear wheel is a perfect fit - no mess no fuss.
See my thread of fitting a 1998 front wheel to my 2010 model here: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=34334
I had/have a bit more of a challenge in so far as the 1998 axle is actually shorter than the 2010 axle. I am positive it will fit without too much of a problem, I just need to reconsition the wheel first as some spokes are seized and the wheel is not true.
My thread on the rear wheel is here: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=34232

I got some 17" wheels for my '09 S from a member here that were laced up on '07 S hubs. The speedo gear at the hub is made differently but will still work. The problem is that you have to remove the oil seal around the inside of the speed sensor housing in order for it to fit over the outside edge of the '07 hub. That doesn't leave a huge gap between the two but, there's definitely a gap. You'd just have to check and clean/lube it fairly frequently. But, yeah, it still works.
