Default Pumper carb no longer needed

Not sure if this is allowed. I have sold my KLX and don't need the Mikuni pumper carb anymore. I put it on ebay, but would cut a deal to someone on this forum if you want it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/13291765681...84.m1555.l2649

I'm skeptical ... 2 posts, both only offering for sale, but registered in 2015. ebay seller account created in 1999 and no activity for over a year, no seller feedback only buyer.

Hrm.

If you use PayPal you definitely can stop payment if you do not get what you ordered or it isn't what you ordered. Same with ebay. They definitely protect the buyer.

I shipped a kit to the west coast, the buyer didn't get the kit and filed a complaint with ebay. I got documented proof from the USPS that they delivered the package, which is scanned with a gps unit that shows where it was delivered. Someone had stolen the box from the buyer's mail box. ebay refunded the buyer from my account - BUT they put the money back in. They made the buyer think I lost the complaint. That kind of sucked because I didn't. If I'd sent another part to the guy I'd have been out around $50 and no recourse. But still the point is they went out of their way for the buyer. If you do ebay or PayPal you are covered pretty well.

I'm not a frequent eBay user. Maybe sold a couple things in 20 yrs. When creating the listing I just searched for the exact carb I own and clicked the "Sell mine" button which autopopulated a majority of the details for the carb. I found it peculiar that eBay tied in reviews for that carb to my listing. If you want to PM me questions I can send photos/other details. Seriously not a scam, just figured there would be some interest in this forum.

You may want to mention how it is jetted. Buying the proper jets is a bit of an expense.

I jetted it using the sizes most commonly used for a 351 kit. Table below.. The Needle Jet, Jet Needle and Pilot Jet from the factory are in plastic bags and were never used.
Needle Jet #P6 784-13002-P6
Jet Needle TM36-68 Richer - 2.5 9EBY01-50
Pilot Jet - #17.5 VM28/486/17.5

I added photos of it to my profile

I would seriously be interested in what a stock 250 runs like with this carb, I speculate it would be a noticeable big improvement. I already have one with my 351.

I never tinkered with it on my original jug. I did the whole upgrade like you did. There has to be a thread on here where someone describes their results. I'd assume starts are easier since you can shoot a stream of gas into the cylinder, and the front end would get lofted easier.

I seem to recall someone putting a pumper on the stock jug....

You're not getting as much action on this as I expected. Maybe also try here: https://advrider.com/f/threads/long-...review.107591/

There was information in the forum about it, I saw it. Exactly what was mentioned, crisp quick throttle response. They said best bang for the buck short of a big bore. I originally got one for that reason, then got an AHL 299cc kit so it will be interesting if I ever get the furnace hooked up in the shop.
