Default Pumper Carb? KLX250S 2009

I read the Top 5 Mods list and started a different thread becuase I want to focus on the Carb.
I have the stock CVK-34 and was wondering if anybody and upgraded the carb on the 2009. Pumper must mean that is has an accelerator pump on the new carb? right?

So what yuo yuo swap it out for. I have looked at the KX250F at the dealer. Will that swap out and fit the KLX250S?

That little squirt of fuel when you crack the throttle sounds like a huge improvment.

Year/model/part numbers etc. would be great info.
If you've done it: what were the triumphs & troubles?

Thanks.

No mate. I'm pretty sure the 250F has a 37mm carb. Probably too big for the 250S. (seen one fitterd to a 250R SM in Japan.)
Stick with what's on offer from Bill Blue or FSW.

Id say the three most popular carbs are Keihin 35mm FCR, Mikuni TM33 from bill blue he has bored it to a 34mm and made adapters so that i will mount right up. And the Mikuni TM36-68 which I have but not mounted up yet, but is supposed to fit just like stock with no adapters. Personally it depends on your setup since you still just have the stock jug id probably go with the TM33 from bill as anything else is probably to much carb for the stock engine. here is a link that talks about the TM33 and 36 pumber carbs very good article, long but some good info.

I know what you mean about money pit. I just dropped off my Kawi at the dealer today so they can install the Kustom Kraft 330 kit, Moto Pro fork springs, and Michelin AC-10s. I want a pumper carb, but I'll wait until it gets warm again and see how much I like how it runs without it. I've already got so much put into it, I'll see if I can get away without it. Perhaps I should do the free mod others are trying; lose some weight. It won't be easy, I always pack on extra lbs during the winter. Maybe I need a Wii Fit or something. Wait, those aren't free. Foiled again.

For those of you looking for a pumper carb. I have a deal for you. I have one of Bill Blues Mikuni's. It is tm33 which he bores out to 34mm.

I will set it for 275.00 with free ups shipping to anywhere in the lower 48(USA).

If your in Canada or anywhere else in the world shipping is on you.

I will include several jets. I think I have everything starting 127 up to 142.5 and a 40 pilot or a 37.5 pilot.

The works just fine. I just need the cash.
