Default procycle-online.com for supermoto wheels?

Anyone used them? It's be super sweet to just get a set of wheels in the mail, already set up. What's the deal with their set for $1199? Good deal? What else would I need to order? What about brake rotors?

Try Beringer for SM brakes and rotors.

This would be all time.

I wouldn't be doing much racing, do I still need supermoto brakes or would stock suffice?

Stock will do fine. Change the pads to some sintered/organic type. When the rotor wares, upgrade to a KDX rotor.

If you're going the SM route. You WILL need new fork springs. If your under 200LB get some .44 springs. If you're really keen, upgrade to 10W oil in the forks at the same time.

Procycle good to deal with the did my Ktm supermoto rims.

It's great to take them out of the box and just bolt them up tires and all.

I'd guess at somewhere near .48 for the forks, at your weight. You could probably stand to be a bit firmer on the shock spring as well, though that's not as critical. I went with compression valving -front and rear- that is 4 levels firmer than what would be used for MX at my weight, but fork springs are definitely the most important if you are prioritizing where your $$ go.

A phone call to John, at Moto-pro, is definitely time well spent. He can get you the most for you money.

+1 on the Berringers, but they are a little more than I prefer to spend on brakes. Those -combined with a radial caliper- would be killer though!

I just went with the Braking 320mm pedal rotor, KX250 master cylinder, ss line and stock caliper with sintered pads. That was a night and day improvement over stock breaks. I couldn't believe how much difference the KX master cylinder made.

Simply adding the KDX200/220 cast iron rotor will make a noticable improvement. Combine that with a KX250 master cylinder and the improvement will be dramatic.

Anyway, plenty of choices to burn your dinero on.
