Problem after KCAS removal

i left the short section of hose that comes off the exhaust manifold and capped the end so there wouldnt be a rubber cap right next to the motor that could melt, would that cause a problem instead of putting a cap right on that port ?

No.

You left on a hose that was meant to take the heat. Better that way if you have to put back on the emissions control fluff. Actually I'm rethinking, the rubber cap that I put on mine could fail from heat issues.

yeah, ill be re-jetting and puttin the pipe on next week so hopefully that will solve the problem.
