Default Pro-Grips, Infinity Boots & Tusk D-Flex Handguards

All right I'm spending more money on the KLX since it's too hot to ride. I'm ordering the Oxtar Infinity boots (sick of my Thor Quadrants - size 12 anybody want them - cheap!), Pro Grip 791 triple density MX grips and the Tusk D-Flex Handguards (w/mountings) in white to match the headlight housing - is anybody out there riding with them and how do you like them?

I have the green D-Flex guards with black spoiler. GREAT protection, I've biffed hard a few times and my bars and levers are still intact. The spoiler makes it nice on the cold morning commute but don't really know its there as far as brush protection goes. Be prepared to fight with the mounting though. I tried putting the main bracket in a vice and bending it but it was a no go, half inch thick aluminum is some tough stuff, it would bend and spring back. I ended up slowly tightening the whole works and it pulled itself together.

I've got the Tusk hand gaurds on mine and really like them. I didn't have any issues with installation with mine.

Klx250,have you thought of trying out the Thor 50/50 boots? I bought a pair and they are really lightweight and comfortable on the hot days. They retail around here for $100.00 so they aren't too pricey and only weigh as much as sneakers and not much higher than hiking boots.

The Thor 50/50 boots are nice but just wouldn't work out here in the desert with all these damn cactus and rattlesnakes going for your shins!
