$4,600 OTD. I used the prior postings in this site to assist me in determining pricing ranges. I found most dealers would not negotiate below $5,100, so I traveled to a neighboring town to get a great deal. Good luck

I just pulled my invoice to see where I fell in on all of this. I purchased mine December 10th and gave total OTD $4876.81 Then factoring in some horse trading that was done at the same time I actually came out with about $4200.00 in it.
But when I add up all the little things like the carb mods, exhaust, hand gaurds, bar risers. rim locks, and all the other goodies that I can't do without, it starts raising the price![sm=sigh.gif]

$4662.52 Tax, title, set up OTD price from a little local honest dealer in Gallipolis OH (Kawasaki motorsports center) after seeing all the pricing here i am satisfied with my deal. being a local dealer is worth paying a certain amount more if you get good service without having to travel for it, i know this well as i have bought several cars from out of town dealers and when you need service (warranty, recalls ect.) your savings on initial price can be lost in travelling cost, time

Whoa dude, not a POS, just be patient, I got the 4 year extended along with the 1 year for a total of 5 full years because I dont want to tear into this thing unless I have to. As far as all the out the door prices, at this point it seem pointless to keep comparing prices, if someone paid more than someone else then they feel bad. IMO I would have paid $1000 more because it's what I wanted. Who cares if its what we like. Let's move on. Not picking on anyone, just tired of hearing what everyone paid. If the Suggested price is $4600, plus setup and taxes along with any other fee, then we still should be happy with what we got. Have a great day.

Well said deej! Besides, the difference in DMV fees, taxes and market area makes it a moot point. I said this before, you won't remember exactly what you paid for it in the long run and it really won't matter because the bike is worth every penny.

I'm sorry but anyone that spends hours on the phone and the internet looking for the rock rock bottom price needs to get a life. Same for anyone that drives 200 miles to save a few bucks. [&:]

I posted this before and I will say it again. In a hot selling vehicle with only a few hundered dollar margin, how much are you going to save by shopping from dealer to dealer?

I am very happy with the deal that I got. For my market area, taxes, dmv, etc, I feel I got a very fair shake. Could I have gotten it for a little less if I shopped around? Most likely. However, the dealer was local, very courteous, and professional. I was confident that should I have a problem, he would be there. Sure enough, I had some minor issues later on and it was taken care of right away.

Usually these price threads are started by someone who wants to get an idea of what people paid so they don't get screwed. Sometimes, it turns into Haha I paid less than you BS, which this is starting to turn into. Who cares! Like Deej said, the bike is worth every penny and a whole lot more. IMO, everyone that bought a KLX got a great deal on the best DP bike value out there.

I have to agree with Deej on the pricing, some of us paid more I paid $5300 out the door with a 2 year warranty. but don't forget that some of us bought the bike last December when it was in short supply. My Kawasaki dealer only got two in and I bought one of them and the other sold in less than week! This was a hot little bike and the dealer knew it and was not going to move on the price! Now every dealer has at least one sitting on the floor and I am sure if I went to buy one now I can get a better deal too! P.S. ( I live in New York and everything here is more expensive!)

Hmmm That's weird, I bought mine November 23rd and the dealer only got 2 in and the second one sold in the next week. In fact when I saw it on-line back in September I called the dealer and ordered the first one. Oh and this last weekend when I went to Sequim to go ridding I saw another bike like mine with a Muzzy pipe. It was the first one I have seen in person since I bought mine. Of course I had to wait until the guy came out of the store so I could talk to him and tell him about this wonderful site and all, and I mean everyone here, the great people here that have this bike in common. He said he spends time over at another site, and I can't remember what the name was, something like ADV rider? Someone here must have an idea of what I'm talking about. I still think this is going to end up being the best selling DS of all time.
