Hey Hoagey. I paid $4499, bike only. OTD, which included tax, set up fee, and license was about $5700. The shop I bought from charges over $400 for set up. A little steep as far as I'm concerned, but they do it in shop with union mechanics. Apparently some shops charge way less, but their bikes are set up out of house with cheap labor. Good luck.
5400.00 otd cash in las vegas NV. i wanted a helmet but they wouldnt throw one in...........bastards. lol. would u sell a car with no seatbelts? cmon its the law. its not the law to give helmets out for free but hey whats the msrp again...like 4699.00 i think i i got FD in the A on that one. safety first everyone. ill remember to bring a condom next time i visit las vegas. i thought my rear end hurt because of the seat on the klx but then i remembered it was from the dealer. haha. sorry kids.
Oh I got them to throw in a helmet, and two dealership hats, and I bought a 2nd matching helmet. and the jack stand, gloves, tire irons, the moose tire changer, I thought I would never get out of there.

wow, i guess i feel lucky. i called all over Iowa and turned out I bought my bike close to my hometown down in SE IA. A little small local dealer let me have it for $4675 otd. and that was his first quote, I didn't even have to haggle with him. he was over $100 cheaper than any other dealer even C&C Cycle, which is the largest dealer of anything in the midwest and where i bought my 100th annv. HD in '03 for retail. They were $300 higher and wouldn't budge, I laughed at them and hung up. To top it off, my bike was fresh out of the crate. He had one on the floor but i asked if i could have the crated one and he had no problem. I applied for Kawasaki credit online, got down there and did paperwork for 5 mins and i was gone. One happy day.
