post mod carb question
If you can turn the screw around that much and see no difference it sounds like the pilot might be to large , bogging is usually a sign of being to rich, unless you meant to say that the big surges when you whack the throttle.
No it's a bit of a bog I'd say unless u roll on gently. It's the stock pilot so aren't they usually too lean?
Yes I was going to lean it abit but if I move the clip to the second position the shims are flush against the top of the needle and it won't sit properly in the white spring holder.
I managed to move the clip to the second position down but haven't ridden the bike.
From my 2 stroke years I remember that the pilot circuit seemed to make a differnce to the main circuit and adjusting the pilot screw made noticeable differences.
I'll try to post pics.
Sorry yes I should have posted pics.

Yes sort of. I moved the clip up to the 2nd position. It smoothed out the transition. But, I'm still thinking I will try a kdx snorkel and a smaller main because I'd rather have a nice sounding exhaust than a loud intake noise.
I'll post when I'm done. The bike runs very well right now so except for the noise I'm happy.
