Default Popping Exhaust

Recently my exhaust started making a popping sound when I let off the gas to shift gears. Does anybody know why. It never did this before.
Thanks!!

Mine pops a bit on deceleration.
I don't really know what it means but I'm happy with the way the bike runs.
When i had the jetting checked on a dyno, it seemed OK.

I had some snap, crackle and pop as I left off the throttle.

I installed a $8.50 Bill Blue Smog Block Off Plate Here) and the popping disappeared.

Default Mine To

Mine does it all the time as well but sounds pretty dam bad *** when everyone is looking. I heard if you back out the air fule mixture screw one/half round it will help to stop it but hever have touched mine from the original setting suggested at the beginning of this forum. I have Two Brothers on it and it really makes a nice sound when slowing down.

I heard that high octane gas can contribute to this problem.

I wished my full FMF popped a little when backing off, it just gets stock quiet....
Okay, I did buy the exhaust for decibel purposes and know I can't have everything lol.
