If you install the VPS barkbusters I highly recommend you get yourself the triple clamp mounts rather than the clamps that go on your bars. Not only are they stronger (and support the bars a bit in a crash) but it makes the routing of cables much easier.

You need to fabricate a bracket that attaches the hand guard to the mounting hardware. The fabricated piece extends your hand guard so it clears your clutch and brake levers. Ask me how and I'll post some pics...
