Went riding this weekend. I was tooling around in the mud at Reider Pit and decided to follow the road to Index and into the FS roads. I got most of the way to the first bridge and could not go any further because of the conditions in the picture. This was a great ride, and I would recommend it for anyone in Washington. The whole road is now a river. The storms in the last months had changed the entire course of the river to where the road was. I bet the two bridges after this no longer exist. It is a shame to see one of the best dual sport routes get wiped out and beyond repair.


Oh, yeah... Changing your rear tire is a pain in the ***!

Would that let meride in water over my head without getting swept away by a river?

 

Nope, you would need scuba gear at that point.... but don't worry, it should all dry out in a decade or two, you know how these things cycle.....

I clicked on the picture before I saw who it was from and I instantly knew it was a Washington picture. Nice!!

 

I got a chance to ride at Reiter a few months back, and it was a blast. Tony and I and a few others rode up to the power lines and it was a real fun ride. I have an Aunt and Uncle that live in Monroe now and I stayed with them. I am really looking forward to more trips up there, (now that I have a free place to stay)
