Well since I talked to the dealer and he wanted the KLX mostly stock I had to tear it apart and pull the goodies off to split them up between all you guys on here. Since it was going to be a lengthy process I decided to roll it into the apartment....

So far we keep looking for excuses to go out and ride, we were out and about for 12 hours yesterday, and went wandering again tonight.
Things I've discovered....
Kim likes to go fast....so does the V
The V pulls good from idle...then pulls DAMN GOOD above 7K
Faceshields will not stay open at 90+
The V's headlights far surpass that of my 06 Stratus or any other vehicle I've driven.
It has a nice low rumble and then it smooths out and proceeds to scream as you reach the right side of the tach.
Fuel injection kicks ***!
The windshield is great in town under 50, over 50 it blows....my head around.

Actually that's the abandoned hotel building that was converted to a garage. The landlord told me I could park my bike in there when I moved in, in March. In April the roof collapsed and took out my powerline with it...that was a fun day. So now I have no covered parking for my bike and the birds roost on it...a cover is in order.
But yes, it's nicer inside than out, they never re-sided it after putting up new insulation board. That's ok, I don't look at the outside walls anyway. 1300 square feet for $650/mo everything included is pretty hard to beat, even if the outside is fugly.
