Default Parting ways

Well, the day has come, tomorrow I deliver my trusty KLX and all the goodies to its new owner, DirtSurfer. We're meeting part way on I-95. Here she is, one final photo, all cleaned up and looking pretty, ready to hop in the back of the truck. I'm sure gonna miss her. Lots of memories and loads of fun. I think I have something in my eye, sorry, gotta go.

Buck up little camper! It will still be in the family, right? And I'm sure if you're nice, DS will let you visit on holidays.

Hell of a bike and thanks again for all the effort and time you've giving to the Cult of the KLX.

edited to add smilies...

Yes, that definitely makes it easier knowing it'll be going to one of the clan. And unless something drastic happens, I'll see her again at the NE ride in May. And there she'll probably dust me on my KTM - that would only be fitting.

Cool, your planning on letting me ride the KTM while you dust my *** with your old trusty steed!!!

For the record, it was always myintention that you would be riding it again in NJ, just unwritten....[8D]

When did all of this transpire? Dirt Surfer bought your bike? Where have I been? Why am I asking questions that only I have the answer to? Where is this voice coming from? Mom?
