OK. When you reply to a message using the "Quote" button, you'll notice that the original text of the message is in between two boxes. One says [*quote] and the other says [*/quote] (but without the "*"s I placed inside to keep them from working). These are an example of vBcode. When you press the "image" button it inserts the same type of bracketed tokens buth they say "image" inside.

So, to insert an image in line (so it appears in the page) you need to have it stored on a web server somewhere. If you have an email account with a service provider (broadband or dial up), you most likely get some free web space along with your email accounts. One option is to create a simple website there and load your pictures onto it. Let's say your internet comes from xyz.com and your email is deej@xyz.com. Your website would usually be http://www.xyz.com/~deej/ Your provider will have tools and/or instructions on how to do this on their home page.

Another option is to use a photo hosting site like smugmug.com They allow you to load your photos and then places links to them (URLs) in to websites like this using the [IMG] tags.

It's not that hard to do.

Here's an example:

1. click on the camera icon under your name.

2. pick a picture you want to post, then right click it. Choose "Properties" of the picture. Copy the location of the picture.

3. Open up a post and then click the button "IMAGE". You will see "[ image][ /image]" appear on the screen.

4. Put your cursor between the "][" and paste the location.

You will wind up with this:
