Default Numberplate Bag?

Anyone ever use a numberplate bag? If so how do they attach and do they stay on well? I've been thinking of getting one to put the stock toolkit in as well as my kickstand plate. I'd like to get rid of the rear pouch as that's what I catch my foot on when getting on without using the sidestand.

I replaced my bag with this pelican case. Its a little bigger and its water proof. Just food for thought.

Therein lies the problem, that spot is where I catch my foot on the stock bag which is why I wanted to relocate the tools to the numberplate. That is a new location for a case mount though I like it.

Dirt-Bagz sells a number plate bag.

Here is the link

I think their Enduro Carry All is what you are looking for?

I am waiting for them to start to make the Dirt-bagz(saddlebags) for our KLX.

I just bought the large ballistic fender bag from Dirt Bike Gear. They also have a number plate bag. **LINK** These guys have some neat stuff.

Here are some pics of my new bag.

I really like this bag. I didn't want something big back there as I have a hard enough time getting my leg over the bike. With the compression straps, the bag is only as big as I need it to be. A neat thing about the straps is they are left long. This is so you can put bigger stuff that won't fit in the bag on top of it and still strap it down. The front of the bag used the stock tool bag holes to bolt it down and I made a clamp for the rear holes to mount it to the rack. I tried to find as many reviews as possible about Dirt Bike Gear and I never found a negative review.

I am also considering getting the number plate bag for longer trips.

I have a Moose number plate bag, I bought it from Dennis Kirk: http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...ductId=p505519

$35.00, I believe it is water resistant, not water-proof. Once you have the straps setup. it takes about 5 seconds to put it on or take it off.

It doesn't droop over the headlight as much as it looks. The bag is unzipped in this photo, you can see the coke ottle sticking out.
