But if they also think like you then why would they, they'd only get another 1-2 sales!
well to most people, they dont even know hmf makes pipes, and for the most part, they only do for quads and a few bikes. all and all, there an american company, only looking to sell for the american styled bike, not worried about sales numbers in other countrys cus it would cost them to much to make a profit unless it was priced with fmf and leo vince.

second, if it was my choice, i would have the second pipe available. i was stating this from the normal american point of view, not my own. trust me, im the farthest thing from what most people think is an normal american.

That was the point I was trying to make to HMF but without success. I explained that very few people outside of the USA have heard of them or are aware of their products and as they already make a pipe for the KLX250 would they be able to add an O2 bung to one. There are many other forums where people post info & pics about their bikes and even one dedicated to the D-Tracker X here in Thailand which is very popular. It would have been very easy for them to do it and it would have definitely have meant more orders for them. You think they are not worried about sales numers in other countries?!
I think if you were to ask the owner of HMF if he would like to increase sales of HMF pipes, regardless of which country they were sold in, I'm pretty sure he'd say yes!

why i said what i did, is that hmf is the lowest price pipe from what i know. these guys try to keep cost low obviously, so shipping out of country is more costly, especially when the shipments are small so the profit level isnt high, so they focus on sales state side, and maybe canada. then it comes down to if the fmf and hmf are basicly the same price, im pretty sure 90% of the people would get fmf. people buy hmf cus its cheap.
