Well, if you can keep from modding it (you'd be the first, I think) you can definitely use the gas mileage angle. I think I was in the 70s on the street before the mods.......

 

wow 70MPG i could only hope thats true.
gas price was my main arguement to the wife of why i needed a bike.
daily comute is 25 miles each way with either 90%interstate or all on base speed limit ranges from 35-55 both routes take about the same amount of time. i'm leaning towards staying on base cause 1- i dont wanna get smeared all over the interstate and 2- there are tank trails that run next to the roads on base. hmmmm maybe the on base time just got a little bit longer lol

if wife settles down and i get my allowance back only mods would be a full exhaust and jetting. most my other play money has to go towards the mustang and its restoration ( i guess thats why my wife is getting so frustrated) yes i want it all ..............

 

thats why i bought the klx to begin with... gas mileage..... which turned into doing all the mods.....
so here the klx is dirt only pretty much....
