What a hoot, check it out:

Go easy on me, though, I am not versed in 2 stroke, you could pretty much consider this my first time on one.

Awesome NB. How does the 2 stroke 200 compare to your 4 stroke KTM in acceleration and torque. It seemed like you were riding the RPM range quite a bit higher on the Kaw than you usually do on your KTM but seemed to keep up pretty well. Looked like a hoot!!!
Sweet! Gotta love that sound. Bet you were grinning ear to ear. Gotta pin those 2-stroke's NB! Sometimes there more fun on the woods. I still have my 00 kx250 for sale...hint. There a different beast to get used to. After 3 years on a 4-stroke I took the 250 out this summer to blow the dust off and about scared the beejesus out of me!
No comparison. Had to keep the RPMs up on the 2t where the power is. If I ran it up there on the 450 in that tight stuff I'd be off in the weeds or the trees.
I wasn't any faster on it, though, just seems that way because it was making more noise.
But who knows, given a little practice on it, I think I could do OK on a 2t. But I couldn't get used to the geometry, it was very different than what I'm used to. It felt like I was sitting too far back, but I found it hard to scoot up onto the tank in the corners. And peg position, shifter, brake, handlebar, etc, etc, - the whole layout was pretty weird to me. I think I'm just not use to it, that would come with a bit more practice.
But it was a heck of a lot of fun, I can't stop thinking about it.

I was!! That was a blast!
Ha ha, don't tempt me, I'm in a weakened state of mind right now, no fair!

Cool Video...
Ok, my turn!
Actually I want a turn on both machines
I have a general 2stroke versus 4 stroke Question.
I just got into a conversation and my Bro-in-law said that basically the 2stroke is twice the 4 stroke bike. In other words. Take any 2 Stroke 125cc and it is equal to any 4 stroke 250cc. Likewise the 250cc 2stroke is on par with the 450cc 4stroke.
So, Good Question. How did the 200cc 2 stroke compare to your 450cc?
Hmmm... Maybe Horizonod asked the same question with way less words

Hey Brian nice one, I love 2 strokes as play bikes they are brilliant. Mate if ever you get a chance have a ride on a modern 300 2 stroke, they will make the KDX seem like a wheelbarrow. Don't get me wrong I'd love a KDX, the Gas Gas 300 I rode was just awesome
