No clamp for Q4? Is that right?
So I'm installing my Megabomb header and Q4 muffler today (as soon as the parts finally came in). I got 3/4 of the way done with that and my needle swap and realized that there is no clamp for the header to slip on joint? i also realized there is no slot that would allow the header to clamp down on the pipe anyway.
I used a nice high temp RTV but is it correct for there to be no clamp there? Just making sure before I get carried away. It's a nice fit, but certainly not tight by any stretch of the imagination and it's just weird to me that there wouldn't be a clamp? Anyone who did this recently could comment for my piece of mind. I tried looking at threads and photo's but after 35 minutes of looking and not finding figured I'd just ask. Thanks!

Fabulous! I'm so excited. Just put the tank back on, fired right up like I never did a thing but sounded much more like a bike should
Goin for a test spin in 1/2 hour so my sealant cures a little more. I'm sure I'm not dead on with jetting but I'll at least be able to ride a bit

When I installed my Mega & Q4 I used the highest RTV gasket maker I could find, good up to 700 degrees, it is copper in color. As for the clamp I installled the original one, just had to open it up a little bit. Then I let it sit for 24 hours to let the RTV cure before trying it.
