Rainy day and cant ride just wondering if anyone knows if you can swap the klx wheels for ninja 250 wheels?? thanks for anyhelp guys

i tried and cant find anything for some reason it just comes up with a post about sprockets, i know ppl do this with other brand on/offs but have never seen it on a klx but am really interested in doing it.

cool, thanks for the help ( i was thinking maybe its the 650s that you can do this with?? not the 250s)

One thing about the 250 ninja wheels are they are only 16 inch. A better option to see if they would fit would be the later model EX500(500R ninja) which had 17 inch wheels but still only had a single front rotor. You could also see if wheels from a Suzuki gs500 would fit, they are 17 inch and also have only one rotor.

Another thing on any of those bikes is the front rotor is on the opposite side as the klx. That means when looking at the dirrection of the "spokes" they would be different from front to back. It may not be a problem for you but it would bug me.

yah that probably would bug me, do you know of any other problems i might run into such as the brakes or sprocket?

I never got that far yet. There is a mc junkyard not that far from me that very good prices. Last time that I was there there was a gs500 sitting in the yard. I am probably going to go back and pick up the wheels just to play around with them to see if they would fit. I am guessing that none of the wheels from any of those bike will fit.
