New tail light / fender idea... break out the saw!!!

I think the light looks good but it would never work for me. I just installed the Pro Moto rack and it uses the two holes you sawed off.

By bringing the fender in won't that allow more road debris to kick-up on you? Can I see a profile pic.

not the first to do it, but one of the cleanist versions of that yet. nice job.

I took the fender extension off my KLR too.... from this.....


to this.....


i get alot more spray on my back, helmet, and tail bag....i didnt think it would affect it so much, but it did.

Its a love hate thing for me. I love that the stock tail light is gone but the fender looks way to abreviated. Thats the beauty of modding these bikes or any bike, you make it what YOU want. Great progress on your mods in such a short time. Here's an idea, Bulldog the can (remove a section of the aluminum can) about 3 or 4 inches. It may be a little louder but would not stick out the back further than the fender. Happy modding!

looks good there. I was looking at one of the 250 yesterday at the dealer look like there a fun ride.
