New Seat Cover, & Tire Wear Pics
Hey guys, just put on a black gripper seat cover to replace the torn stocker. I ordered it from Verde Powersports on e-bay. ~$45 shipped and I had it in 3 days. Was a bit of a struggle to get it on and wrinkle free, even after leaving it out in the sun for quite a while. No ride report yet just sharing the pics.

And here are some pics of my tire wear after 1500 miles, Trackmaster 2 rear in 100/100-18 and Kenda 776F up front in 90/90-21. Anyone know what causes the front tire to wear that way, with it hooking up toward the bike like that?

Nice gripper seat cover and a good price too! My riding bud has those same Kenda's and with the same wear pattern - he lowered the tire pressure to 18 psi for both street and dirt riding and it seemed to help.
Could be just the wear characteristics of the Kenda 776's - I do a lot of hard front braking on my Dunlop 606's and they don't look like that and I'm riding on sharp (decomposed) granite surfaces out here.
I don't disagree on the braking theory however if I took a wider picture you'd see its only where there are 2 ***** close together. This tire has a pattern that weaves in and out, where the ***** are far apart or just a single they still have the dimple like the outter *****.
I know street tires all wear out differently on different bikes. On a street bike you should never use two different brands of tires. I really don't know that much about dirt bike tires but if you are riding on the street a lotit could be the wear characteristics when using two different brand of tires on this bike.
that occurred frequently on all my front tires, its called tire cupping i hear. anyway, it happens when the tire is not balanced correctly.ijusthad my kenda 270sboth replaced with the same. front had the same issue as yours so i had them balance the wheel and it feels so much smoothernow as well. they put a lead weight on the rim and its very smooth now. well see about tire life. i have 17,000 miles on the bike and it runs better now than ever.
The tires are the same brand, different model. I've heard the front Trackmaster wears poorly on the road so I went with the 776F. There is no matching rear for the 776F. As far as balancing goes, the tire rides smooth, no wobbles, not ruling it out just saying.
