bump for the V.2 version of the new Prospector plate, still 11 x 13 inches in 1/8th inch T6 also in black powder coat.
$64 in aluminum, $79 in semi flat black powdercoat

Shown on the WR250 in black powdercoat

Also, the Dakar skidplate/toolbox now has the lid moved to the top of the box. $205

For reference here is a pic of the WR250R Yukon toolbox in black powdercoat, on a WR250X Motard

Im thing of getting the Mojave skid plate in the near future. Id like to polish the aluminum to a high gloss for a unique look.

Ive polished stainless steel but is it possible to get that mirror like finish on aluminum?

BTW the welding on that page is beautiful. http://bandbmoto.com

you can polish aluminum beautiflully. Mirror finish if you take the time. I wouldn't waste the time polishing a skidplate, unless you don't take your bike off road, the front tire throws plenty of rocks up.

He has been making them, for the KTM 640 for awhile now is is just finalising the prototype for the DR.

I'm assured that I will be the first paying customer.

Thanks all for your support and interest in my efforts to provide parts for the KLX250.

I am no longer in production. My real work demands all my focus now.

I do have one 1.1 gal tank kit, it fits the '09-'10 S and SF.

I will discount it by providing free shipping, the price is $269

Thanks,
Bake

NOTE: Bill Blue may still be planning on providing the skidplate, check with him if you need one.
