New Mirrors
Anyone else find the factory mirrors for the klx a bit... stink?
I mean, on the 09, you've got this lovely sculpted, angular, mean looking bike, then looking like big bugs antennae, these very practical, but ultimately less than cool mirrors.
Anyone found any decent replacements? I've been keeping an eye out for some possibilities in bike shops, but seen nothing so far that ether looks better, or fits with the screws.

I call them mickey mouse ears.
I have MSR mirrors, they are just like the Acerbis except for one small detail and they're cheaper too.
Hower, if I were to do it again, I'd go for the Baja Design ones. I think thats the best all around mirror.

If true dual sport mirrors are on your mind, check out Ken Sean Folding Mirrors. You can get them from numerous sources like Rocky Mountain ATV and Motorcycles or Baja Designs. I use them and recommend them to you. Inexpensive and practical also. Google Ken Sean Folding Mirrors and you'll have lots of sources show up. I think I paid about $20 for them long ago. They are still in service!

Regards,
My problem with the stock mirrors is I cannot see anything with them but my shoulders. Anyone have any suggestions on replacment mirrors that will let me see? Maybe ones with longer stems, or the ones that go below the handlebars?
A friend of mine who has the stock mirrors still on his 06 KLX just bent the mirrors out and down and they actually don't look bad. I have the folding mirrors, but to be honest I really never fold them even on trails. I like to see if someone else is coming up behind me, or if a bear is about to attack me.
They make bar end mirrors that would give you a wider view but they look like they may stick out a tad much and might interfere with hand guards.
Some cheap stick on fisheye mirrors might widen your visability some in the mean time.
I've been looking for folding or "breakaway" mirrors not so I can fold them back when riding the trail but more so they fold back if the get snagged on a limb or something.
