Looks great! I'm going to steal your idea 'cuz I want to sumo my '07 KLX250S as well. Green is nice but I want to tone the color scheme down...flat black looks nice. Those are 17" rims rims front and back?

 

Tyler, I like what you said to the salesman about the price of new Motard KLX. Salespeople irritate me big time. The motard looks pretty good, and I may have bought one if it were available when I bought my S model, but there is no way I would trade it, and lose big bucks for essentially the same bike. I would check out the KLR650 2009 model, in black! They have changed it a bit for the better, but its still a land yacht.

 

I checked babbitsonline.com to see what the stock rims and tires are going for on the sf. If any of you are interested but im sure that its not much cheaper than aftermarket.

Tires are sweet but seem way too small/Low....Id rather have 19z....

Mirrors are of cheesy pimp **** style....Just need to be chrome dipped..

Rims look really cool wide....Doubt they would hold up to a few curb smacks or logs

I almost ripped the seat strap when I seen it.....They should have made it a single seater

Front fender wasnt bad to look at...Bet it kicks down on tire spray....




My .02....Its the sister bike of the "S" model....Too short too fancy too sporty...

Id rather have bikes in black that some of our members have on here..
