Not to worry! All is now right in the world. I have cleaned the bike (certainly not to any OCD type standards) but all the chunks and most all the scuzz is gone. Should I get the Qtips out and swab out the nooks and crannies?

Oh yeah, I even hosed off my riding gear!

Deej. Could you direct me to the source of that cool looking M/C jackstand? That looks like a must have item (to replace the large chunk of wood that I have been using).

Its Oklahoma red clay. And its a royal pain in the butt to wash off. The KLX got that way trying to make it up a hill thats just mud. I ended up burying the rear tire completely.

As for good Green242, you can't get much more stuck than that.

I think Collie, Pete, and Divodave kept setting you up at every mud hole, Craig.

Okay. So my bike is not truly "filthy". But hey! this is the first time I've ridden a dirt bike in over 20 years. To me, a filthy bike was a coat of dust, and some bug splotches, maybe some scuzz under the fenders from riding in the rain. I think it's safe to say lcpl0331's bike is actually filthy though!
