Wouldn't that cause the new bars to become weaker like the stock ones?

Might also be a bit difficult getting the nubs lined up with the bar perfectly for the drilling? Once they have been drilled the controls could be lined up slanted.

That's just my opinion, me and power drills don't get along well

I got these too. I added 2" Rox risers and now I can ride standing up all day long. Of course it needed longer everything (clutch and throttle cables, and brake hose). It's a lot of money for a 3" inch rise IMHO.

I had the Protaper ATV High bend on before, almost the same height as my current setup, but with more back swept which I didn't like.
