Yep it's easy, just 2 allen bolts for the handlebar brackets that hold it on.

Rack has not arrived yet.

We have been socked in with four days of rain.

We are heading out for a good ride on Thursday (250 klm), a little pavement, fire roads and trails. Plan is to take a full face helmet for the wind, 2 litres of gas in the backpack and a syphon hose to use the gas tanks of my fellow riders. That will p them off, I will suffer the abuse andmay even offer to pay for the gas that I use.

Unfortunately, mine snapped right where the two legs went around the headlight. And yes it did this at 60 mph. fortunately it snapped over and slapped on top of my tank bag and I held it till I could pull over. I think I can still make it work, but if anyone fabs their own, make sure to put up a couple of support arms. I now know that.

I am happy to hear that I am not the only one being blasted by the wind. Yes I have an 09 but I will pass of the windscreen for now. Wow are they ever expensive, plus a rack, did they see us coming. The new bars, hand protectors, sprocket and rear carrier blew my budget. But to fab one, did this for the dearly departed Concours, why not fab one for the 250??

Which Slipstreamer windshield works best with our KLX's? Anyone have pictures of them mounted?
