I haven't seen a '09 yet in person, but the klx in Red looks more like the Lifan, than the 06-07 KLX. I know there is a classifieds section, but not specific to the KLX250. I know I spent a lot of time reading these forums before I bought one, and would have loved the chance to save a $1,000 and get a bike that was in this condition. Those of you that bought yours new from your local dealer for only $4,200 out the door are lucky! The rest of us probably paid something closer to MSRP, I spent about $4,700, but then we only have one bike dealer in town, so there's no competition. For others that have the same issue, this is a steal.
As I have stated on this form on numerous occasions, I could have paid $10,000 for my KLX and I wouldn't care, not because I have that kind of money to throw around, because I don't, but because its that great of a bike. Who cares if one bike was 4200 or 4700 or a million bucks, its all in what we are happy with. If I bought a Chinese bike and loved it then I would be happy. The only problem is nobody will ever be convinced that a Chinese bike is as good as a Japanese bike. I wonder if the bike has lead paint. RECALL!!!! I'm just messing with ya man, although I would pay 5 times the money to have piece of mind. That's why I bought from a good dealer and that's also so why I got the extra 4 year warranty. I hope I never need it but its there if I do. And piece of mind is something you just can't buy......oh wait I guess I did. [8D] And I have used the warranty twice after the factory warranty was up, I'm almost even and I have 3 years left on it.

But I said they weren't hurt. Besides I love Chinese food, does that help?[8D] And don't forget the Chinese hotties, I mean Love has no boundaries.

Bike is sold. The guy that bought it doesn't like the way the new models ('09) look. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

you will when you see one in person. they're really neat. it's hard to comment on something when you haven't even seen it in person. People didn't like the 1997 F150 either, but it went on to sell in record amounts just like the hated 2004 design. The seat alone is a beautiful thing when compared to the old KLX. I know you're reading Deej......red....red....red '09 KLX. say it.

"Red.....red...........red 09 KLX" See that wasn't too bad. "Ok deej stop obsessing about the new red bike, you love you 06 and nothing is going to change that." I better not even go into the bike shop next time I'm in there. Its a good thing its an hour away and I can't afford to drive there. [8D]

it would only cost a couple bucks to ride there on your '06. then, come back with an '09 and have it pretty much broken by the time you make it back home. you still have the stock parts so just wrench off your Muzzy and sprockets and whoa, a killer '09 would be a sproutin'. I can see it now.
