PERFECT picture
thats how mine look
Yes I know about the sleeve but I think they were like $4 each
I figured I could use brake line tubing or something to make my own. Just to save some money there

I did take pics of underneath just holding it by hand

I realize now I have no nut welded on the peg
Which I could do myself with my welder
just need to decide if I like the look, to me they look way to tall

Almost want to order the drz400s ones they had a stud on the rubber pad so all you need is the nut
and much smaller you can still see the peg teeth with those

Yeah I think I will order the drz ones too might as well try

So found this
03 suzuki DRZ 400 S Footpegs Foot Pegs Rests Pair 3D7 | eBay

not much more then buying the rubber pads and I get the whole peg too, so im hoping they will just bolt up to the bike

got the ones in from e bay
bad news is the drz 400s pegs wont just bolt on the hinge is alot narrower
The pads do fit nicely in my klx pegs as show here

But the mounting bolt does not line up with the klx hole
So I just tapped a new hole in the rubber, as it has a solid metal plate the entire width of the peg and used the bolt it came with and a washer I had laying around
probably would of been better to use a lock washer but I put in red loctite

Now that rubber does sit a hair lower on the drz peg so its not a perfect fit
But its way better then the super tall 250sf rubber pads that sit over the entire peg

Now all I have to do is see if I like the change

did a 30 mile test ride
no problems
I notice I can twist my foot a touch each way, where before I couldnt
makes it easier to position my foot

I wouldnt use these offroad if you had to stand up, but sitting on the road its all good
im sure they take out a little vibration as you can feel the softness

glad I found a set even though I paid about the same from ordering new ones I got them super fast from e bay along with extra parts
So im happy
