Customer calls me up

"My bike locked up on me at 60mph, trailered it home and drained oil, only 200ml came out, refilled and took it for a test ride, bike stutters like I'm in 3rd when I'm in 1st and there is a new swirling/scratching noise"

My reply...."it's not gonna be cheap"

Basically told him the engine needs a tear down, inspection and rebuild

2009 klx250s, 10,000km, mint otherwise

Any leads on good used engines?
What's a good shape rolling klx chassis worth?
Swap in a 2t 250 engine and suspension?(That would be my fix lol)

Jesus, everyone is smoking engines it seems like. Check your oil folks! I cheek mine once a week or anytime I leave my county for a "longer ride" than usual.
