For the price of a new gixxer, you could almost get 2 newklx's(defenitly 2 used). 1 for you and 1 for her.

Good Point. And I bet insurance on 2 klx's would be just around the same (if not cheaper) than a new gsxr.

here's another option: the '07KLR650 and older were a lot more dirtworthy than the new '08KLR650 is. It looks a lot better too imo as it's more of a dirt bike than the new one is with it's practically full fairing. I wouldn't be afraid to take one of them anywhere one might take a KLX with the right tires. I'm just saying cuz I've been down the cruiser route before (a couple HD's) and basically it's like riding a piece of furniture around all the time. ie. no other way to have fun compared to going off road anywhere anytime with the dual-purpose bike. klr 650... would have no problem with two pepople... and the seat looks alittle longer, puls the passengers legs arent right up your elbows like the klx250.... i think the 250's foot pegs are way too high in the back... oh well, not like i bought it to have someone on the back anyway.
