Default NC Dual Sporting - Sunday Ride Helmet Cam

Gotta love having a plated dirt bike. Me and a buddy spent the day connecting power and gas lines with some sweet scenic dirt roads and occasional pavement through horse country and tobacco fields. Did about 100 miles total, probably 50/50 on/off road. The power lines were fun but a bit slower, while the gas lines were faster and had some fun water bar "jumps" to make it interesting. They were fun, but perhaps a little too abrupt, you had to really put some leg into it and throw your weight back to keep the rear wheel from hitting the top of your helmet.

Pretty stuff B. Your having a lot better weather than we are. I think it's rained everyday for the last week and a half. Those trails legal? Up here we gotta be carefull cause they're not.

Enjoyed that. Similar terrain to the stuff I ride locally. Power lines are the shizle.

Great riding. In my area the power lines have signs that threaten to comfiscate you vehicle if you trespass. Everyones a 'buzzkill'. Looks like you had a great day of riding.

It does have a familiar look about it.
Its a bit greener though.

You can't beat a plated bike for versatility.

Didn't see any no trespassing signs and they weren't gated. Looked like they had been well used, too. Hopefully it's OK, that was pretty fun, and there were many miles of that stuff, I already cut out a lot of the vid to keep it from being so long. And there were a lot of side trail off the lines that we didn't even explore, could ride for several weeks exploring all those side paths.

I liked the gas lines the best, that's just too fun. I need a few more traversals of the power lines, though, I wasn't sure what was up ahead and those things can drop you into a deep ditch or gully pretty quickly if you don't know where the good line is.

Sweeeeet. Looks like NE's terrain a bit!

What part of NC? I was born in NC on Ft. Bragg. I spend lots of time on the Outer Banks in the Buxton/Friso area. Going in a couple months. I'd love to bring my bike but no one else will have one

Keep ridin

That ride was probably less than an hour from Ft. Bragg.
