Default Nads falling asleep need a new seat.

Yeah I really need an after market seat that is better than the stock. After about and hour everything between my legs is numb.

Any help with suggestions for an after market seat will be greatly appreciated.

Let the comments begin.

I have found that the air temperature has a lot to do with this. Er, it should get better in the summer. It's not necessarily the vibrations or the seat.

Ramjet, have you noticed more vibes after installing the BB kit? I'm finding it's a bit more than stock and I'm having to find and fix all kinds of new rattles. My current nemesis is the right radiator guard. It vibrates like crazy at about 4000 rpm and above. I made some rubber grommets and it fixed it but they fell out. I need to figure out a better solution. I haven't ridden more than about 20 minutes at a time so I can't comment on the seat but I'm sure that if I rode for an hour I would feel the same as you. Can't complain about the power though!

The vibration does seem to be greater and that combined with the narrow seat and firmness and the fact I have no A$$ all contribute. I went for a ride 45 minutes I was numb. Been down this road before and it was fixed with a new seat with better foam.
So If I cannot find any after market seats then I will put new foam in the seat myself. Done that before but it is time consuming.

I have not had anything rattle off but I only have 75 miles with the BB kit.

I found the stock seat to be too soft, fine at the beginning of a long sit down ride, but would pack after some miles and feel the seat pan mking it uncomfortable. I bought a med seat foam from gutts racing and put the stock cover back on. Worked for me but everyone is shaped different. I'm 190lbs fwiw. For reference a guts soft is like an old XR seat, medium is like a crfx, hard is like a ktm. Off road seats aren't usually a problem because your standing a lot. On road the best cure I've found to the sore butt is to start switching bikes with your mates. Just a different feel, even a towel layed across can get you on down the road on long ride.

I was going numb as well on every ride. I bought some padded riding shorts from fox racing and havent looked back. Its got a gel pad for your nads and a thick tailbone pad and hip pads. they are skin tight and work great for me

I do ride bicycles for centuries and other very long rides. As a matter of point cycle seats are designed so that there is not pressure on the veins and arteries in the nether region.

Rim bender that is great suggestion I have reworked seats before I was hoping to just buy a seat but rework is OK too.

When we get the chance to get back on the Forest Service roads and alike standing will be more frequent. (they are all closed to all but car traffic until May 1st) But suggesting that someone "just stand more" is not very practical, especially for those that convert these machines for commuting and such. Simplistic approach that is just an off the cuff answer not a real solution.

Thanks to those that made some good suggestions and understand the issue. It is crazy that the after market seat companies make such good revenue in that we all are little more tolerable or less and a "one type fits" all just does not cut it.

Sounds like you talking about Renazco seats. One member had his seat done by them.
