N1TC needle vs dynojet needle.

DJ needle is NOT a straight taper... it has a couple obvious "steps" on it. These give better response in the mid range, which for this bike, is the best POWER range. Over 8000 RPM, the engine makes less power anyway...

I'm sorry I didn't measure them however I have just measured the distance between two grooves on the N1TC and it's .020" Here is a line I have pasted from a Kawasaki Australia service bulletin about replacing the carby slide with a non-ADR type. So I reckon the shims are .010" each.

5) Place a spacer (Part # 92022 – 1003) under the needle jet to richen it up 0.5 clip position
