What part of the pnw, east or west?
We did it this morning. Oil change, that is. I handled a torque wrench for the first time in my life lol. 494 miles. He told me what to do as I handled the ratchet and undid the necessary bolts here and there. I was like--- is that really all it is??? We did have a few issues with that pesky spring, (like remembering exactly where it fit into things). Used a little bit of lithium grease to hold it when putting the new oil filter and then the cover back on.
I was amazed at how dirty the oil was.
517 miles in one week. I don't think that's too shabby.

It is very satisfying to do your own work, and you probably do a better job, even if it is your first time.

Oil change is a bit tricky, you have to tilt the bike to not have that darn spring fall out
. I use husband as "bike tilter".
