This is a corporate owned forum that exists exclusively as a vehicle for advertising.

I never realized that.

I had read that (now gone) post. I thought it was a matter of fact telling of an experience.
re the forum: it is free and for the most part worth more than what we pay.

Is the corporation public or private? If private my previous post still applies, doesn't matter whether its and individual that owns it or a corporation.

Dude seriously, save your lectures. I think most of us are past freshman year "types of business 101" lessons.

I am in touch with deej and we will figure out what happened.

I read it. Maybe it was because of it's tone? Understandably written by someone upset because he felt he was getting the run around?
TNC brought up a good point - BB is a one man operation, doing high quality work. Some things are worth waiting for, if you need it now...oh well...plan ahead.
Bill also stepped up a few weeks back for illking. That had to hurt, but was the right thing to do.
Bill may also have complained? It could hurt his reputation.
And don't forget he's subject to all the shipping problems anyone else is from a supplier. Logistics suck.
To the OP - didn't you get an email notification?
I do feel we are lucky to have the forum, this one is more helpful than most I've ever tried out, corporate or not.
And I do believe the terms of service below contains the rules...haven't read it...scanned it back when I joined...gonna go read it now...

Dude, quite your whinning and get over the fact your thread got deleted. Read the forum rules. A moderator or the administrator must have felt it was in violation of them.

I'm no lawyer but I don't think he violated any rules.
But the rules are a definite CYA for the forum owner.

Maximus, I don't mean any offense by the following post, but I am going to be candid.

To be honest with you, I have read too many fanboi comments such as yours about Bill's work which is what motivated me to post. Bill's customer service horror stories are starting to pile up, so people in the market for big bore kits may want to know there is another side.

I did plan ahead. I called Bill, asked about a timeline, then lined up my shop to do the work on the timeline Bill said he would keep. Not sure where you got the impression that I wanted it to happen now.

Shipping problems from supplier - I specifically asked him if I should wait till he can confirm availability of the parts before sending the payment over. His response was "It will be here tomorrow, I can assure you. Go ahead and send the payment"

It doesn't matter if its a one man operation or a 100 man company. If you advertise a product, accept money ($1100+ is good money, no matter what product you are buying), and don't keep your timelines, you are going to have questions to answer. Bill isn't doing charity work, so it is irrelevant how many people he has working on this.

If my post was taken down because Bill complained, that would be the real zinger. Last I checked this is kawasakiforum, not billblueforum. Moderators should not be in bed with vendors. Not saying that is the case, but just following your line of thought.

I heard about Bill and his kit from this forum. So I thought I should share my experience for others who may be in the same boat. Bill may eventually send my kit and I may be just as impressed by anyone else about the quality of the work. That will have no bearing on my disappointment with his customer service. My post was very specific to customer service, not quality of the kit.

Like I said I didn't see the original thread. I am just assuming if it was deleted they saw it in violation.

Most import sentence in the forum rules:

"The owners of Kawasaki Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason."
