Cool car. Not as cool as my '57 Chevy Bel-Air sport coupe first car, but cool nonetheless...LOL!

Maverick, I gotta ask...what's with all the different colored trash cans? My first thought would be some kind of recycling deal, but I've never seen that many big cans at a residential location.

My first car was a 1981 plymouth reliant station wagon that my parents gave to me. I would say your son is very lucky!

trash cans look like that in most cities in california too...paper, cans/bottles, trash, compost, etc. get a discount if you request a smaller trash can

My parents bought me a 1968 station wagon for my first car. My son picked this car out, researched it and bought it himself (with financial help from yours truly). Seeing as he has shown no interest in cars at all I think he has done himself proud.

The trash can thing, the red lid is for normal rubbish, the green for green waste and the yellow for recycling. Most places only have one of each but when we moved in we had 2 yellows, no idea why.

Back to the car it's a 1.8L and goes well. I tried it at 35mph in 5th gear, it just pulls cleanly without effort, no shakes or struggle. I'm impressed! Also tried it in 5th at around 70mph and the bloody thing just goes.
