Maybe I can retro fit my klx plastics to make my ped look meaner

 

Whoops, what have I done? Iowa, I really was half joking when I wrote that, and what's funny, is that I know you feel that way, and I still thought somehow I was going to say some magic response and everything was going to be reversed. Oh well, I guess if everyone agreed about everything we would all run out of stuff to say in a week.

Seriously i did think my klx was weak after riding my buddies crf250 but the stock gearing difference on these bikes is large. after i did the crankcase mod, rejet, adj. needle, 13tooth front and 45 rear, two brother slip on (although it did not bark like a rottweller) the bike really woke up and was keeping up with my buds crf. i blew him off the start a couple times and wheelies were not a prob. i do miss my klx[&o] but i will get a kx maybe next year. depends on finacial situation. i really miss my yz 125 twosmoke. someone stole it out of the back of my truck one night. i hope i find out who it is someday,-- hammer and broken bones[:@][:@] DEEJ i believe it was you who wrote me an email one time for calling out iowaguy. was i in the wrong?

 

I don't know....I don't' remember, bottom line is I just want everyone to respect everyone and I sometimes say stuff that might go against that, so I am working on that.

i also am not trying to disrespect anyone. everyone is entitled to an opinon. were all different.

 

This site is mild now. I remember whensometool called people out with threats and f-words and posts would get deleted by the mods.

 

yur mods are similar to what i did to my klx except i went 140 on the main (was too rich - needed maybe a 130) and ran no air box lid with crank case breather mod with 5/8 hose to air box. i de smogged drilled the slide vent, 2brths slip on, same needle on 2nd notch ----man i miss that bike. oh well i am going to go take a snap on the zx right now. that will cure me.

 

if i may wade in here, i test rode a dr-z400s before i bought the klx. imho the dr was clumbsy, underpowered, overweight, over priced and top heavy. the klx had cool factor and fun factor and priced better for what you get. unlikethe other bikes that i modify, ride then sell for a loss, i'm keeping this one.
