Exclamation My Rack Has Arrived -- Nomadic Racks

A big, HUGE "thank you" goes out to Justin at Nomadic Racks (he sells on eBay).

The rack's finish is great, and the welds look nice. I have not gotten a chance to put it on the bike yet, but I'll try tomorrow before work if it isn't too cold out.

I won't go into how I "aquired" the rack, but let's just say Justin is a top-notch person with great integrity. I'll tell the story if he doesn't mind... I'm sure he'll see the thread!

I can't wait to get this thing on, post some pictures, and let y'all see how nice this thing is. It came with all the hardware, and instructions, and ALLOWS the factory toolbag to remain in place.

If you want, you can e-mail him at nomadicracks@yahoo.com. Or..hell...wait -- I just checked eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/08-09...Q5fAccessories

I'll be back tomorrow!

USMC - Great to hear! I ordered the same rack the other day. I got the shipment notification earlier today so I'm hoping to see it soon. BTW, did you see all the other goodies that are now available for our bike at turbocity.com?

Yeah -- I saw those. I like the brake guard and the engine guard. Wish he made some radiator guards, though. (Hint, hint).

Looks good. I'd like to see it with the smaller '06-'07 bag and maybe a smaller diameter metal tubing used. But all in all the rack looks very nice. Love to see some pics of the finished product after you get it installed.

I suppose I'll chime in.

The rack mounts in four places easily seen by these pictures here.

Talking She's got a great rack!

I got mine installed this afternoon and took a few photos. What a great rack this is. Very solid and it hooked up easily with a perfect fit! I chose to keep my tool pouch (the rack gives you the option install with our without the tool pouch). I'm pretty psyched about this nice looking cargo rack. When I was looking for a bike I was torn between the new KLX's and the 06/07 because I wanted a rack. The price was great too. Here are some pix:

Enjoy!

Between our 5-week old baby, the freezing cold temps, and me working evenings, I've yet to get my rack installed.

It's supposed to warm up this coming week, and I'll be off the evening shift...so -- I'll put it on then.

Those are some GOOD PICS. I'm even more anxious to get mine put on!!!
