Default My New Ride in Iraq!

Okay one day I was down in the motorpool talking to some of my Iraq Army buddies and was telling them of my KLX back home and that I was really missing out on some fun this summer not getting to ride. Then one of my buddies took me by the hand... it's not gay overthere to do this..lol... He unlocked a door andwhen I saw these thingsmy mouth dropped and I about pooped my paints. Wellyou might have guessed it already but we talked motorcyclesthe rest of the day.The battery on both bikeswere bad so theyused a car battery to jump start them and we got to ride around for a while. I have been down there every day now riding and showing them how to do a wheelie. It's like they have never seen anyone do that with thesebikes everbefore. I haveplaced an order for two brand new batteries for these guys so that I can ride them on a daily baiscs. The said that I can have one if the Army would let me take it home. Well I'm gonna be working that issue for a while. Even though they are Suzuki400cc its better then not having anything for a year.Check out the pics... I will send more when I can...
take care

Hey cool stuff, Gravy, glad you got hooked up with some wheels. Those look like DRZ's - I thought the US military favored KLR's, even having a diesel version produced. Anyway, take care and maybe a daily spin on a decent bike over there might make things suck a little less for sure! Just don't forget to clean the filter, I hear they have some sand over there.

You'll be an expert riding in the sand when you get back, maybe open up a little business teaching.
