Default Mx boot sizing question

I have seemed to notice that mx boots only seem to come in full sizes. Problem is that I wear a size 10.5 in just about every shoe. Has anyone noticed if mx boots run big or small. I am trying to find a decent used pair but I am not sure if I should be looking for a size 10 or an 11. I am going to go to a dealer and just try some on for reference but was just wondering what everyone else's take was on sizes. Thanks.

Smaller... much smaller esp oneal. I wear an 8.5 in most every shoe I've ever worn and an oneal 10 fits like a glove.
I bought the areostich combats and the 9 was just right. Those are nice, sidi italian quality and you can walk in them in case your bike lets you down.

I have a pair of Fox Trackers size 11 with lugged soles that I will sell for a great price. I wear a size 10 1/2 in street shoes and the size 11 in the mx boot fits perfect. Only worn once. How about $ 75.00?

From my experience, I'd have to say smaller in general.

I'm a size 10 shoe, and have had to have a size 11 in both the Fox Tracker and the AlpineStars.

Surprisingly, the Gaerne's that I have now fit perfect as a size 10, and are quite roomy for my slightly wider foot.

I just bought a pair of alpinestars tech 3 for $160 shipped to my door. I Had the option of MX soles or ATV soles and I got the ATV ones. MX soles are smooth and the ATV soles have a work boot like sole. I figuredI would bewalking around in themand itwould be best to have some traction. IMO. these are a great boot for the money.I got them at www.denniskirk.com

ATV solefor dual sport, trail riding, atv, and enduro ridingand the mx sole for mx racing (helps in the turns but not if you have to push).
