Pros and cons??? Jetting, installing, repacking, quality, etc.

they're both good systems. you really can't go wrong with either one. i've had both and prefer the fmf. i'm sure there are people in herewho like the muzzy better.a pro for the muzzy is it can take a beating and still lookgood.. a con is it's very loud.a pro for the fmf is it's relatively quiet and i like the extra torque i get from it compared to the muzzy... a con is it's long. i haven't found out yet ifit'lltake a beating like the muzzy did.quality isgood on both. they're both the same as far as jetting and installing. (it is what it is) never did repack the muzzy(Maxx did that) and haven't had the fmf long enouh to need it. i'd say get the one you like better cause they're both good systems.

 

I dont have a full FMF system. but i'll tell ya what i have the Q4 slip on, and after jetting it rocks, personally i cant speak for the muzzy , however, i've seen pictures and the FmF looks mucho bettero!!!

 

I have the Fmf Q4 with the Power bomb on mine and im very pleased with it. Not too loud and I think it looks better than the muzzy. But thats a personal thing.

 

I like loud, is there a way to make that FMF Q4 just a little bit louder???

 

If that powerbomb header had been avaliable when I got my pipe, I would have probably gotten it.....the expansion chamber just looks cool.

I've had my Muzzy for almost two years now....and its the best looking thing on my bike. All my plastic is shot....sunburnt, faded and generally beat up. Muzzy makes a tough, long lasting pipe.

 

My t-4 procircuit is loud as hello and I even have the quiet core in it. I am looking for a pilot jet to stop the decel popping. any info pm me on this one. thanks

you can get rid of some of that decel popping with the fuel/air screw you know.
