Default Muzzy, Big Gun, or ...

Akrapovic. Yeah baby, that's what I'm talkin' about right there, titanium.

Ok, I realize it's not KLX nor even green this time, but I know how we can never resist a good exhaust thread here.

Anyway, it's a slip-on that I kind've lucked into as I got hooked up with a friend of a friend who was selling and it is only very lightly used, only a couple of rides through it thus I got it for a pretty good price. I think the person selling ended up selling their bike and just sold the pipe seperately. Sounds great, no louder than stock, but much better sound. Still not quite as good as what I remember the Muzzy sounding like, but it's now a lot warmer sound than it was.

Now THAT is a nice pipe! The welds look great don't they--alot different than what you would find on those other brands you mentioned.

I'll definitely do an audio sample when I get a chance. It's pretty cool really, its got a nice mid to deep idle note pop but when you wind it out, it smoothes nicely and really sings. Definitely a different character to it.

And apologies on the title; there should be a special place in Hell reserved for people who post threads with titles like that.

Lovin the bike. I've got a little under 300 miles on it now and its starting to loosen up a bit, both the engine and the suspension so it's really starting to feel good. Either that or I'm just getting more used to it. I love the way it handles especially off-road and is surprisingly well behaved on road. Gets pretty crappy mileage, though. I haven't done an actual measurement, the one time I was planning to I accidentally reset the trip odo so lost the miles for that tank. I think it's probably in the low 40's. Maybe high 30's. With the 3.4 gallon tank I think I have about a 120 mile range, probably more if you take it easy but that's no fun.

I don't really think about the Husky, but everything I've read about them say they are real sweet. I'd love to try one, though, given the opportunity. You getting one? I'll let you ride my EXC if I can take a spin on your TE.

The Boss says no new toys until I pay this one off ..... 13 payments left. Fortunately mods are not included as I just got a new trolling motor for my skiff. But I am eyeing that Husky 450 I'm only getting about 40 or so mpg on my klx with mods and the 300 cyclinder.......need more gas.

The stock muffler didnt have a cat in it did it? If not i can see why they sound similar. Looks good though.
