Have HMF and, while it's having some manufacturing problems, it is a very good slipon for the price. Nice look, nice sound. If I had to do it all over again I would be split between that and an oem 300 exhaust. One thing to remember is that each system has it's pluses and minuses...with a full system you gain high end but lose some low end. While you are waiting for your exhaust of choice take a 12 in long 1/2 drill bit and drill out the baffles on your stock exhaust. It's not a huge improvement, but every little bit helps and you lose some of that moped sound the stock ehaust has.

Here's a thought........maybe FMF will add more of their lineup for the KLX? They now have the powerbomb header, why not change 1 bracket and the bend on their other pipes to fit the KLX?

i like the two brothers. it looks good and it sure does'nt sound wimpy on this klx. in fact, i'm going to take some advise i saw in another thread somewhere and get a good set of ear plugs to reduce wind and engine noise.by the way...the two brothers pipe i put on my dr650 made it a monster. i'm sure they are all good pipes.they allhave upsides and downsides as you will see in these posts. it would be safe to say that my next bike will have a two brothers pipe.

I really like the Two Brother's sound. And you can add a Powertip if needed to quiet it down a little. But it really does bark nicely without! Name: twobrothersinstall006.jpg
