Not sure what you're question is. What size rim lock to get? Look on the rim, the rim size should be stamped, probably 2.15" I can't recall off the top of my head. That's the size rim lock you need. I think the front is 1.85", maybe?
I've ridden at Uwharrie several times, and it is rock city, very rough in some places. http://www.vimeo.com/2550824 http://www.vimeo.com/1222276 |
rim lock
i wasn't sure if there was a size or make i should get. oh yea rock city i did get a good ride in before the flat

Yep, 2.15 size. bs, what pressure were you running when you spun the tire on the rim?
|
rocky mt motosports, tusk brand 2.15, good as any of them
was the tire stem installed straight up to start with? not just wrenched up straight the stem nut (which should be left loose fwiw) What was used for mounting lube? You may had a leak, then it moved when it went flat. |
|
even when you put the rim lock in leave the valve nut loose otherwise you will rip more stems. If you ride over 50 mph you will need to balance the rim.

Never had a problem with tubes ripping. Thou I always keep the tire pressure at 22psi.
