Default Mt. Woodside

Went riding up Mount Woodside by Harrison Hot Springs east of Vancouver. Pretty basic logging roads except they're quite steep and have amazing views. There's also parasailers up there, fun to watch but they're driven up there by maniacs in UniMogs going 50 mph. If you look closely in the pics you can make out the yellow and orange hang gliders. The Fraser river is in the background.

Great shots. A truly beautiful part of the world & being out in it w/ the family makes it that much better.

Very beautiful country there. . . I lived in Vancouver, WA. for 11 years and really loved it there but I would not go back. . . . 8 months of a steady drizzle, you know! Vancouver, B.C. gets even MORE rain, as you know. FYI. . . those are Paragliders, flown by Paraglider PILOTS, in your photos. A Hang Glider is an aircraft with a solid structural frame upon which a fabric covering is stretched to form the air foil. . . also piloted by a Hang Glider PILOT.
You're lucky you can still ride at this time of the year. . . we're getting our first snow of the season right now here in central WA. state. Ride while you can!
