bmwhdI just wanted to thank you for all your expertise and sharing your knowledge with us on the forum when the bike was new. I don't know how you knew things like the 13-tooth from a Honda XR650L would fit and not the one from the KLX300 despite Dennis Kirk stating on the contrary. You saved me a lot of time and effort with all your advices.

Found this while reading the first page of threads in the 250S section.
Quote from Todd

Looks like it's a deal. I should pick it up this week. I opted for the 2 extra years on the warranty since I almost never keep a bike that long

I'll post detailed reports when I get it.

You did say that you almost never keep a bike that long, so I guess your right on schedule.

Thanks for all the effort in the forum, Todd - I know I benefited a lot from your IMS gas tank install write-up as well as the carburetor jetting and other mods. You were the first to do many of those mods and write about them, which helped a ton of people. Thanks!

Thanks guys, I'll keep hanging around and I'll encourage the new owner to drop by and participate. I've been wanting to get an old airhead for some time. I want just a standard /6 or /7 (no bags or fairing) but my brother called me out of the blue this week and said his neighbor was trying to unload this:

I couldn't pass it up since he only wanted $1,400 for it. I'll clean it up and look to trade it or sell it and get the airhead I really want. Though it does kinda match the FJR...
