What was your score on the Motorcycle Skills Test? Any funny stories? Were you nervous?

I WAS nervous. There was about 15 people there. Only one other dirt bike and a scooter, the rest were sport bikes. The guy on the scooter went first and failed, the only one to fail. Everyone one else did great. I ran over a cone and lost some points but aced everything else. The instructer said I went a little fast around the cones and would have made it had I slowed down but I just plowed right through and took the point loss. Got a 96% in the end.

From Spokane but stuck in Texas. Nothing funny to report but it was like the only couple days in texas when it was 14 degree out. Stupid cold! I aced the course, the only one in my class.... look at the big brain on brian! I think we will be coming up there in the spring and I will bringing the bike. Might have to get a ride together.

 

Are you talking the riding test or the written test. The written test I missed like 2 or 3 questions and even argured with the lady over one of the questions and she even agreed I had the correct answer and not what the book said. I took the driving test on my Dr250 so it was easy enough. I even asked the instructer if I could stand while riding the bike. He said sure. I think I missed a cone but still passed. I felt soooo good about getting my license I promptly went out and had My first and only accident so far. Thats a kick in the head. ride a bike for almost a year with no mishaps and then within a hour of actually getting my license I take a spill pulling into a circle k parking lot.

I should have asked if I could stand. I assumed we had to sit. I was happy to have my license too and went straight to a new construction site, like half a hundred homes goin' in right next door, and played on their dirt piles and cat tracks. I didn't mess anything up and they are none the wiser, think I'm going back tonight.
